While V2G can contribute to grid balancing and provide additional flexibility to the power system, managing the variability in EV charging and discharging patterns poses technical challenges. Advanced smart grid technologies, such as demand response systems, energy storage solutions, and grid management algorithms, will be essential in effectively managing the power flow and ensuring grid stability. 5. Consumer Awareness and Participation: Encouraging consumer awareness and participation in V2G programs is crucial for widespread adoption. Educating EV owners about the benefits, incentives, and potential savings of participating in V2G programs will help drive their active involvement. Offering financial incentives, regulatory support, and transparent pricing mechanisms can further incentivize consumers to actively participate in V2G initiatives. Building a strong consumer base that embraces V2G technology will be pivotal in scaling up implementation efforts. Conclusion: China is well-positioned to lead the way in V2G implementation, given its growing EV market, supportive policies, and commitment to renewable energy adoption. However, several challenges need to be addressed to ensure successful implementation.
